Class Description:

In this class we will warm our bodies from the inside out, awakening our senses, limbering our perception and relation to space. We will playfully explore the potential ways of inhabiting our bodies to find efficiency and dynamic range. We will work with our experience of the present moment, knowing that what we feel is everything we need.

Beginning with a structured improvisation to awaken our physical curiosities, we will progress through a set of simple exercises to more complex movement phrases. We will work with principles of release-based technique and floor work, slowly finding our feet with an emphasis on finding ease, functional movement mechanics and three-dimensional kinaesthetic awareness.
