@ Mascall Dance, 1130 Jervis St, Vancouver, BC
10 –noon, May 13, 16, 22, 27, 30, June 3, 6 and 10
Helen’s technique integrates and mobilizes the whole body from the earth into the air. The process will include set movement material as well as exploring the physicality engendered in your own movement. The emphasis is on the light release of the skeleton, the sinuous vitality of the musculature and the emotive support of the organs.
The somatic processes of the Bartenieff Movement Fundamentals and the Developmental Movement Patterns are the basis of the work.
