Joshua Beamish/MOVETHECOMPANY is dedicated to the creation of innovative and engaging original dance productions. These works are created by Artistic Director, Joshua Beamish, and invited guest choreographers, both emerging and established.

The all-star lineup features some of North America’s finest ballet artists from San Francisco Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada, American Ballet Theatre, Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Ballet Edmonton, and more. 

The 20th Anniversary Gala will include an excerpt from Trap Door Party, the iconic work that solidified Beamish as “one of Canada’s most promising choreographers” (The Globe and Mail); Beamish’s first work for The National Ballet of Canada, Lollapalooza; an athletically-charged exploration of shifting power dynamics for five male dancers in Marcato; a sensual, meditative duet in STAY; and a celebration of sweet summer memories in Endless Summer.
