Alyssa Favero is a Vancouver based, internationally trained, contemporary dance artist. She is currently studying Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University which has enabled her to approach dance from a scientific perspective. Her love for the art stretches to many styles including ballet, waacking, and hiphop. Alyssa is a current member of Illustrative Society (urban hip hop collective) and an alumni of The Source Dance Company. These companies have given her the opportunity to work with leading professionals including Heather Laura Grey, Heather Dotto, and Joe Tuliao. She has trained at Joffrey Ballet in San Francisco, competed with Team Canada in Germany, and most recently trained in South Korea and Japan.   Alyssa is also an educator, as she is constantly excited to share her knowledge with another generation. She wants to elevate the dance world by becoming not only a great dancer, but also a great educator.
